Have I screwed up Karlach romance?
Oh, this is frustrating. I think my other problem (with Minthara) is probably OK, but I have another one and it may not be fixable.

I planned to romance Karlach this run. I got her into the party very early - by doing the crazy jump down to her from the ledge in the Grove - so I haven't done her early quest yet.

The romance guide says that you need to come on to her after you give Dammon the first piece of infernal iron. The problem is that I didn't, and I did that hand-in hours ago. Is it possible to get back on track at the party? I already tried this, but she turned me down flat - she is neutral with me, but I may be able to fix that if I do her quest with the paladins?

you meet dammon again in act 2

Oh, I know you meet him again. I actually missed him in Act 1 entirely in my first playthrough! Do you still get the opportunity with Karlach though?

You dident go to the druid grove in act 1?One of her romance triggers is after you save it so unlikely you will be able to romance her since you did not even go there.

You can get her before going into the Druid's Grove by simply jumping the river where Scratch is. It used to require a box to jump over but I think they changed it to be easier.

So it's possible to meet Wyll with Karlach in your party when you first enter lol.

edit: I had one instance of fighting the Paladin's where I ran back and jumped across that river. Fought them a bit too early and had 1 person die lol. Then I learned you can just blow them up.

Glad to report that I went and killed the Paladins, got enough rep with Karlach to make her one tick above Neutral, and that was enough to stop her from turning me down at the party. I think I'm back on track now! :D
