dwarf, you can dump that guide. it is outdated and now misleading. as you know, you can recruit her after a grove sided role. you can even ignore her obsession for power and control.
she will still try to capture your character if you carry on to act 3, even if you just mind your own business. eventually in the camp a dialogue icon will appear over her.
saving her is just enough.
and you commit the romance doing just this, nothing else.
At that point, if you "picture yourself as her lover" while you *know* she is seeing what you are thinking, then what do you expect is going to happen?
I pictured her as my friend, and she was disappointed. Then she outright suggested we could be lovers. I said I was committed to someone else. She said, "But now you can have ME." I said nope. She agreed that we could still be allies, and that was that.
What's going on here? What I'm suggesting is a famous underground mod that removes gay characters and romances wouldn't necessarily affect this one at all.
(Though other more mainstream 'romance mods' might.)
