Isobel - consequences - spoilers

Isobel was captured and everyone at the Last Light was cursed. What are the consequences?

It is my third play through on Tactician. So far, the fights haven't been too hard. A couple were a little more challenging but I think I have enough of the strategies and tactics figured out.
When the Last LIght Inn became cursed, it was a fun battle but Jaheira was killed (by the LAST surviving enemy!). I considered reloading but I think I will just continue...
I don't see myself using Jaheira in my party anyway. I realize I won't have the harpers help for the assault on Moonrise but I think I am up to the challenge.
Will I still be able to lift the curse? (not that it really matters, I guess)
I am still pretty early in Act 2 and I am just concerned that if I keep playing, I will be wasting my time. I don't mind a few fights being a little harder and having a few less allies for the end. But I am concerned that the game either become REALLY hard or end early, etc.

Are there any other Major consequences I haven't thought of that might convince me to just replay the fight for Isobel?

The first consequence is, well, all of Last Light Inn dying.
This means that the tieflings are dead as well, therefore Dammon is dead, and Karlach's quest is unfinishable.
Isobel actually dies as well, iirc ? Or gets sacrificed, I don't remember. This means that you don't get to complete her arc with the Nightsong.

To lift the curse, iirc, you only need to complete Halsin's quest, as you need to purify the land.

If you haven't already saved Thaniel then I don't think that is possible anymore.

If you already have Karlach's second upgrade, then you don't need Dammon any more for that, right?

I just thought of the tieflings and Barcus Wroot. So I guess several of the "side" stories are either gone or unable to complete. As for Karlach, I talked to Dammon at Last Light Inn BEFORE this happened and (I think) he already gave Karlach the second upgrade, which If I recall, is all he can do for her. In my previous game it just came down to Karlach deciding whether to stay and have her heart fail or go back to Avernus but she was at least able to "touch" others. I guess no Barcus is no big deal. I remember he gives one option to disable the watch with a bomb but I never used it before.
Perhaps the biggest thing is I need to get to Moonrise earlier to start trading and resupplying, etc.

You give karlach a third and final upgrade in act 3, I think ?
NVM, it's only 2, but you can give Dammon additional pieces for the helldusk armor.

It's really not as much of a big deal as some make out.

The Harpers don't help at Moonrise which actually makes the battle easier as they don't get in the way.

You lose the Aylin which frankly is a blessing too - no npc character should be allowed to talk down to and dictate to the main char as she does in "your" game".

Lifting the Curse does nothing, you get nothing from it.

In exchange you get a more powerful Shadowheart, no Jaheira moaning and no Aylin dialogue which is a triple win.

Aylin is the Nightsong, Right? So I still have to free her or Ketheric is invulnerable but are you saying she just won't help any further after that? Maybe I am confused about which one the Nightsong is...
