The Guilded Chest.

I'm curious about this and I HOPE it wasn't patched. So, there is a chest in the Owlbear cave in Act 1 that can't be opened if you're a Cleric of Selune, if I was to take this chest and say throw it at a Goblin at the Goblin camp, would it kill them? I saw a Youtube short about it and was wondering if if it can still be done???

From what I understand being a Cleric of Selune doesn't matter. You go behind the statue, find the prayer sheet (Perception roll), then read it while standing next to the chest and it opens.

Anyone can open it, just have to grab the prayer in the same cave. I believe it only zaps when you try to open, not just from being thrown.

No, I don't want to open it, I was wondering if it can be used a weapon. Like, taking the chest to the Goblin camp, and throwing it at a Goblin? There is a Youtube short about, but was wondering if it was patched.

You can throw most anything at anyone, it's not Gilded Chest exclusive. There are multiple Gilded Chests, even.

I remember this short, tried this a couple weeks ago. Picked up the chest without unlocking it, carried it to goblin camp. When i dropped it on the floor it was opened and the protection spell was gone. So maybe they did patch it.
Or maybe i did it wrong cause i tried to find that short and couldn't.
