However, it really depends on what your character would do: rescue a stranger for the possibility of a cure, or believe a stranger who assures you her character has the cure?
Don't let metagaming make your decisions for you. Role-play. It's what the game is for.
(Of course, you can always just ignore the druids, the conflict between them, the teethlings and the goblins isn't essential to continue the main story.)
Druid
I strongly recommend doing everything in the Wilderness and Underdark first before you go to the Mountain Pass.
The Grove quest is completely optional.
That being said, completing the Wilderness and the Underdark (with and w/o Grymforge) helps a lot. On Tactician and above, the Creche is brutal for characters under level 6. That does not mean yu can't beat it lvl 5. Test your strength with the undead in the Creche area and decide for yourself.
