Drow Twins turning hostile randomly and pool of blood at camp
Hello.

I'm currently having an issue in game. I've tried to get the cutscene with the Drow Twins at Sharess Caress, but once we get to the room, if I try to talk to either one of them, they suddenly turn hostile and a fight starts. I've reloaded and retried 3 times, tried to talk to either twin, and I've got the same result each time. Before reaching the room they are perfectly normal and the dialogue goes as normal before that as well. Anyone else had this? Is this part of the "NPC randomly turning hostile" bug I've seen some people talk about here?

An other weird thing. Every time I take a long rest, the next morning, there's a pool of blood on the floor by my bed. It never goes away, it even grows every time. There's literally a lake of blood in the room at Elf Song by my bed now. My theory is that because I play a necromancer, I think the game "kills" my ghouls and mummy while a sleep and it's their blood that spread under my bed, but I'm wondering if anyone else came across this, and if my theory is correct. It's not that big of a deal, if anything it's kind of funny. But I was curious.

Yes, it's the summons you have that die when you go to sleep and leave blood behind. You can get rid of the blood by throwing water on it.

Literally the coolest bug I've ever heard of. Talk about freaky but appropriate for a necromancer.

Drows getting hostile with other races, for no reason whatsoever, is not a bug, it is EXACTLY how they should behave, in general and with a few notable exceptions. So it seems that Karma and the mysteries of software bugs finally corrected Larian's mistake 🤣🤣🤣

Now, what really horrified me is my waifu Nym Orilith mysteriously turning hostile the next time I see her, AND her leaving a massive pool of blood near my bed in camp. (Although now I get you are talking about 2 disconnected things.)

I mean, look, Nym, I know you hate me asking you to leave the lights on one time, but this fatal attraction stuff is REALLY uncool. :steamhappy:

I had this problem with the twins. The solution for me was to dismiss 'Us' and Scratch before talking.

Thank you so much for that tip! Yes, apparently the twins really don't like having pets watching. I didn't dismiss Scratch but sent him out to the street and that allowed the cut scene to play out without undue hostility.

Make sure to report your findings to support@larian.com - ideally with a savegame to reproduce the issue.
