Druid Subclasses
Can anyone please explain why my druids are forced into one subclass. I cannot choose anything other than druid of the land. The other options are not available.

I levelled Jaheira from 1-10 back-to-back last night, got to pick a different Circle every time.

Methinks Op doesnt know how to select a different class.

I am having this exact same issue as @crusader74. I have never used any mods. There is no option to choose a different subclass. Also FYI, druid subclass is gained at level 3, not 2.
This seems like a really unfortunate bug for druid players to not be able to play the subclass they want. I even tried respecing with Withers and the subclass doesn't show up as an option to change.

Druids do not subclass at level 3, it's level 2. Always has been.

You are either not understanding how to change subclasses or you've got broken files. Verify your files with Steam, especially if you have never used mods.

When you respec;

Go to Withers.

Do your Respec.

Set your stats.

Press the level up button after first Withers stat screen is done.

On level up screen, make sure you click EVERY OPTION on the left, including the one that says "SUBCLASS" when you're on level 2 level up.

Pick Subclass.

If you cannot pick a subclass, your files are borked, either from bugging out (verify and/or reinstall will fix) or from mods you used before that borked your files.

Also; this thread is a year old. If you're having issues, make a new thread.

Thank you for this response! I was quite frustrated yesterday and being able to follow your directions really helped. I was able to successfully use Withers to respec. My best guess is that I must have missed the subclass selection at level 2 because the icon already had the checkmark on it rather than the red exclamation mark for missing choices.

That is easy to overlook. Example is Shadowheart. Who by default has the worse Cleric subclass there is. To get her a better subclass for a cleric, you need to respec her using Withers.
