First the made the problem by making a stupid system they used and then they made a new problem by trying to fix that system.
Where all along they could have just used a system that was in Rpgs since dawn of rpgs... bUt Noooo they think they know better lol.
Just like with controls and camera - chains... Ah
Baldurs Gate 1
This would be a great fix if you could opt to pass the "learder crown" to other character if your Tav is not a CHA class.
TBH the whole CHA as a combat stat is just bad game design, but oh well, this is a 5e game.
Stuff BG 3 Doesn´t have.
Isn't that normal?
...or was it?
I've accidentally triggered loads of interactions that I didn't want to when playing co-op with the wife. It would be nice if I could select her incredibly charming sorcerer over my dim-witted ranger with the charm of a wet fart.
In my experience, this is not how it works. Approaching as your high Charisma party member still forces the conversation onto Tav if they're in the group. For a lot of interactions, the ONLY way you can not have Tav be the one talking is to separate the party and then walk the character that you want into the interaction far enough away.
I kind of just roll it off like i am doing the talking, but the high charisma character in the party is helping me out...because I pretty much always have a high CHA on some character for combat reasons anyway.
