Any good difficulty mods?
I've reached the point where the game isn't much of a challenge unless I voluntarily adventure with fewer party members or deliberately skip content to avoid the experience gains.

That got me thinking - are there any good mods out there that reduce XP gain or subtly improve the difficulty beyond simply doubling all enemy damage?

in Honor mode you find it not much of a challenge? i bow to you, for me it's a nightmare.

If you are willing to install mods, there are some mods for this

As was said above, for sure, there are more mods that make thing easier (probably that's most gameplay related ones), but there's some stuff to make it harder too.

BG3 doesn't have a Nightmare difficulty setting, for example, but you can get one.

I prefer casual gaming without the risk of something unexpected or unintended jeopardising my entire game (although I do have 100% achievements). In my most recent Tactician campaign, for example, an imp in the House of Hope blasted Karlach too far over the balcony and I was out of range to resurrect her. Had to reload.

There is Zerd's RAW mod, playing by the actual 5e rules could make it tougher. A lot of the cheese is removed and the meat is put back in :)

Of the mods I have seen and tried only Combat_Randomizer has been of any value mod wise to increase dynamic difficulty.
