About playing musical instruments
If I miss Alfila's instrument playing task, are there other ways to learn an instrument?
Of course, I mean methods other than changing careers. Maybe this is not important, but it is regrettable.

The mod that makes your party automatically learn to play one is a must for me :)

Alfira is not the only NPC there are a number of bardic type characters around the world.

or you use CE to add the "Performer" feature to your chars, save the game and that's it.

But the only bard who gave me unconditional learning of a musical instrument was Alfila...

I do the quest cuz it's easy and fun (especially the squirrels). However i have not found a use for the skill. Is there one?

Okay, thank you all very much.
I try not to think about it. Maybe I should find fun other than playing instruments.

It's very convenient. You just need to start playing a musical instrument to attract everyone's "eyes" or let the NPC you want to naturally move to certain areas, so that another of your teammates can start doing something sneaky, such as stealing or killing.

You can only learn it from Alfira or by installing a mod that just gives your party the perform ability.

But there are various npc's that will play their instrument with you.

How "The Sims" would it be if he could master it after practicing like The Sims for a long time?

You can do that with Minor Illusion too, though. And even by just speaking to the NPC with another party member.
