Ogres (spoilers)
It seems you can pick, either get the horn to summon the ogres (if you do it right), or kill them and get the head item. You can't pickpocket.

I was able to get both the head thing and the horn, though I can't remember if I agreed to have them help, and then betrayed and killed them right after. Or if I just straight up killed them. when you do a lot of save scumming you tend to forget which version is the one in the save file

You could do that, but I found if you kill them, the horn can't be used.

then more than likely I agreed in order to get the horn, then killed them and got the circlet thing. I play very chaotically

get the horn and summon them for a difficult battle in Act 1 and let them die to loot the head item :steamthumbsup:

I believe the reason for this is that Lump ate a person wearing the headband. The heaband is working its magic from his bowels.

Using the horn thrice and kill them on the third time before they tail away. :mhwhappy:

There really isn't a difficult battle in ACT 1 (Even on tactician) to really call them in, other than just for the fun of it. :)

This sounds valid. It should be added to the description of the item to make it 100% canon and explain why it can't be pickpockted. :steamhappy:

true enough! i like to kill them for Circlet and the experience early on.

There's two ways I like to let the fight and die:

1)Ogre Party in the Goblin Camp. After taking out the goblin leadership, leave via the main entrance where every goblin is. Call the ogres here and only fight enough of the camp to get your party to hide in the chicken chasing corner. Pick off goblins on your turn as appropriate to make it an even fight.

2)Roasted Ogre. You'd think that a party of Ogres with clubs would be amazingly effective at taking out Grym. And it would, if it wasn't for the fact that they run over the lava as they get summonedr, dying instantly.

I summoned the ogres, but they didn't get killed in the fight, and left right after.
