No. Also he leaves only under certain conditions.
And I made the mistake, I had Shadowheart on the team, I let her talk about what happened at the Temple of Shar, then he left, and said he would report what happened at the House of Grief x.x
The only two items of particular import from Ferg - from what I can remember - are Cold Snap (really good for cold builds but requires Dual Wielder for max effect since it needs to be paired with Mourning Frost or Markoheshkir) and the Dwarven Thrower (which requires either Disguise Self, or a Dwarven Tav on a TB build).
The rest of his inventory's pretty good all things considered (I think Sethan can be a really useful Warlock weapon, but not if the Warlock is Wyll since he gets the Infernal Rapier which is just better), just not so game-breaking that it merits a panic if you scuff Ferg.
The BIG ticket merchants are in Lower City proper anyways, and as far as weapons are concerned you end up finding BiS options as opposed to buying them (Nyrulna, Markoheshkir, Silver Sword of the Astral Plane, Balduran's Giantslayer, Bloodthirst, Rhapsody, etc.) What you buy ends up being armor pieces like Armor of Agility/Persistence, Legacy of the Masters, Vest of Soul Rejuvenation, Hood/Cloak of the Weave, etc.
