How do I get the longstrider spell?

I can't pick it from the level up screen either as a bard or wizard, and I have never seen it for sale. How do you get it?

It tells me I SHOULD have been able to select it as either bard or wizard. It doesn't tell me why it wasn't in the list of selections.

Do you have a screen shot of the spell selection menu? I'm not really some one to talk to about bugs and such. So I hope someone more helpful comes along for you.

Are you using mods or anything of the sorts?

Because a Bard gets it immediately from the very first level as a spell to select and I personally have it in my playthrough started fresh with Update #6.

Long Strider and Enhanced jump are both level 1 you can pick up at character creation for a wizard or bard

My bard and Ranger both have it, but I don’t use mods.

Respec, select it at level 1 or do it as a spell replacement

Don't listen to these newbs OP. You should wait until level 4 and pick the feat that lets you get two ritual spells FOR FREE! Longstrider is a ritual spell, so it's like getting the normal spell, but FOR FREE!

That isn’t good advice. Giving up a feat or ASI isn’t a good trade. You are better off getting a hireling and leaving them at camp to buff your party with Longstrider.

yes and it's funny Larian even tried to force us to have it memorized if you cast it from the party...

Well, guess what larian not gonna happen, hirelings are there for a reason lol

What he told you was free spells you can even make some money if you sell all the gear that hirelings have well at least break even depending on the setting you use.
