I assume, started a new playtrough myself but im not that far into Act 1, that you can now engage in combat with her and knock her down while in combat. Guess thats the only "new way" since before the Patch you could only make her temp. hostile and then knock her down.
Wow... I was hoping they put a way to convince her or something...
a) you can now knock her out while raiding the Grove, and this will work (a player confirmed this here)
b) you can now KO her while perm-hostile as well as temp-hostile (not positive on this; awaiting a player to confirm). This means everybody who made the mistake of angering her in dialogue won't lose out on acquiring her.
AFAIK, nothing else, including "tent sharing with Halsin". It also looks like they tried to give (or add back?) more dialogue for Minthara, but some of that may be out-of-sequence bugged .... also, not positive, but her Act 3 romance WAS borked, and it doesn't seem like they fixed that.
Unfortunately, even after Patch 6, Minthara is one of the biggest annoyances in the game. A reminder that BG3 was released a year too early and a lot of things weren't finished...
What Larian has tried to patch up over the past few months is a bad joke. Let's hope this botch is corrected at some point. There needs to be real content for Minthara in Act 2 & 3 that does justice to her personality and her role in the game.
