Can you date one more partner?

I told Minthara that I was interested in her, so Shadowheart asked me if I had changed my feelings for someone else.

I'm scared of ending up with Shadowheart, this is my first save, but I'm interested in Minthara too.

Minthara's great but her romance is pretty bugged, i would hold off on romancing her right now.

You can only fully romance one of the origin cast in a single playthrough, but can still do some of the few side romances with other characters.

Without the polyamory mod - you are going to have to choose. You can sometimes romance two folks for a while, but eventually they will confront you over which you will choose. People portray the camp as some kind of free-wheeling love-a-thon, but the old green eye of jealousy always pops up.

There was a problem here, Shadowheart broke up with me, and I started dating Minthara

Yeah, there are no take-backs on breakups in this game, unfortunately. If that happened, go forward with Minthara, but I'll agree with Dizzy that even post-Patch 6 her romance script still looks a little bugged & unfinished. (But you can ask her for a kiss now! You used to not be able to.)

I'm going to load the previous save and try to romance Minthara in a new game, most people date Shadowheart, she seems to have a cool story

My concern is that I spoke to Lae'zel who was only interested in sex with her, and she liked the idea, I don't know if this could affect the relationship with Shadowheart

There is a way to romance multiple characters but only certain characters. I think there was a video on YouTube detailing it.

Be a total save scum and do the deed with Minthara and then go back and reload and romance Shadowheart. Minthara is the most loyal bae and has the best romance scene, but she suffers from cut content. You get one romance scene and then the dialogue goes to nothing until almost the end of the game. Shart acts like a confused teenager but has the most consistent and enduring romance and dialogue.
