Steam Cloud Error
I haven't been able to get this game to sync with Steam Cloud for over 3 weeks. I was able to before that point, however, for whatever reason, for the last 3 weeks or so, it won't sync no matter what I do. Steam Support, who I've been messaging, claims it must be an issue with the save file size of BG3, however, even after deleting a bunch of my saved games, it still won't sync. Anyone have any ideas?

Did you check if your cloud space limit is reached?

Could search for it online, instead of delegating it to another forum user right?:)

In Library, right click on Baldur's Gate 3 on the list -> Properties -> General and check your available Steam Cloud space for BG3

I doubt your claims. Share screenshots of the messages from Steam Support you got. It is hard to believe they tell you such without telling you how to check on the cloud storage.

I save like crazy, specially before important quests or dialogues so that in case I made a wrong decision I can revert :-) My savegame folder is 41GB, The Cloud Storage for BG3 is 1.74GB. That that doesn't work, it is obvious :-)

Anyway, and not wanting to crticize, I don't quite understand why would people use the very restricted Steam Cloud storage for these kind of games with so many saves and where the game even alows you to load saves from other people.

Turn it off, back up your savegame folder regularly and you will be fine.

In fairness, it used to be 10 times the amount.

Well you're clearly a troll, because I shouldn't have to give you a screen shot of my, what is at this point, long and mostly pointless discussion with Steam Support to convince you they haven't told me how.

Thank you, extremely helpful! Any idea what to do next, because this seems to be the issue, however, despite me deleting most of my saves at this point, I STILL can't get it to update how much it's actually storing on the Steam Cloud.

You can likely still run the game and your save files will be there as the game uses a separate launcher after you launch it on steam but be careful as this could corrupt your files.
(It worked for me)
