I've gotta leave a negative review Larian
Whoever designed the Myrkul fight...yikes. This is an extremely unbalanced encounter, not all of us use cheese builds we looked up on the internet.

I really can't fathom how this made it into the final product. Do better.

Details? Because there's nothing cheesy about using basic druid spells for crowd control like Spike Growth and Call Lightning like I did when I cleared it on my first playthrough.

I managed to beat it on my first playthrough using the arrows of Ilmater since they block enemies from healing.

did it on my first playthrough, (I may or may have not had extreme experience in pathfinder)

Some hundred thousand other players: yeah, more or less easy, but (of course) still doable
The one very inept guy: I write a negative review

people have issues with that fight?

me and my gaggle of dumb friends beat it first go the first time we played, probably helped I nuked half his hp in one turn as a Paladin

game provides you with spells, scrolls, potions and dozens of actions. it's up to you using them correctly. using them in right place and right time is not cheesing, it's being clever and correct way to play the game

There are very few problems in this game where a good Smite isn't the answer.

Hmm... when I tried that, it didn't work. The Apostle couldn't heal on his turn, but after his turn the effect ended, and then the necromites used their own actions to heal him.

Beat him with the achievement with a pure fighter, pure bard, pure wizard, and pure cleric.

Wizard misty stepped to free Aylin and the rest of the fight was a total cakewalk, nobody even got downer.
