The base game is already in third person. The default camera angle is top-down, sure, but you can swing that in for the Gears of War experience at will.

I don't understand the controller on PC thing either, but I have never owned a console so maybe it has to do with people that play multi-platform.

dragon age camera functions basically the same tho?

its not over the shoulder in any of the 3 games its centered on character and you can zoom out

as for combat no they are not gonna change it to RtwP, they are not gonna completely rework their entire game from the ground up after concluding development, and if thats not what you meant and you just want to be able to zoom in whenever yeah native camera mod

Some folks are convinced that controllers are the domain of the great, unwashed masses of "console plebs." The "Glorious PC Master Race" is a meme for a reason, but everything that serves as a target of mockery has at least a few people taking it way too seriously on the other end.

I just really like dragon age so a full on 3rd person mode from the dev team
would make me super happy.

It is 3rd person even with mouse and keyboard. Can you explain what it should look to somebody who never played in DA series?

Some people are just stupid...
Some games are better played with kb+m, sure, no question about that, but I wouldn't wanna play any racing game without any analogue input...
Flight sims feel much better with a nice hotas....
and jump and runs usually feel much better with a gamepad.

And while I agree, that in games like BG3, I personally prefer kb+m, I've heard many positive things about larians controller compatibility, so it seems to work well...:)

Not happening.

larian is done with the game, patch 7 will be final content patch planed, after that expecting anything besides minor hotfixes is just being delusional

and even if that wasnt the case they would still not waste time and resources overhauling the entire game lmao
