How hard is the house of hope?

I never managed to go there but plan to on my current playthrough and just wondering if i should super level to max before trying

Yes, you should go to one of the best places in the game... and yes, being level 12 probably helps, especially if it's your first visit (but wouldn't you be lvl 12 anyway at the time being there? soo many questions here xD).

I already finished game but i didnt want to steal contract back from Raphael on that playthrough and i was a illithid anyway.

But now im doing maximum evil durge playthrough and so im obligated to kill him with maximum brutality

it is no easier or harder than the rest of the game but it is definitely a unique experience.

One of the hardest fights in the game is in there. Which doesn't mean much, but it's harder than most other fights in the game.

Oh ok so if i can handle act 3 in general i should be fine with this then good.

There is a place to heal yourself there as many times as you'd like. It's actually pretty easy.

No. But you can get some really good help in the house of hope too, just need to pass a DC 30 persuasion check.

I find the House of Hope 'fiddly', the AI seems to have its tactics down pat, so mistakes are severely punished.

I would say the battle against Viconia is probably harder or at least more frustrating than the one against Raphael.
He deals pretty decent damage, as do his minions, but he is very manageable and you don't have to deal with clouds of Darkness everywhere.

Raphael can't handle Ice Storm. He spent the whole battle on his back during my last run.

i've beated house of hope a few minutes ago, for the first time and on tactician. it was eaiser than i expected, this is my first time on tactician and first time on house of hope but i've beaten raphael on my very first try. (i am not too good at this game)
i really don't think it is the hardest fight in game. house of grief is way harder than that
