Another big part are evil endings, so if you don't want to play evil, that part of patch 7 is also meaningless for you.
There probably be additional stuff, but those are the 2 main major announcements for patch 7.
It's also until September, so plenty of time until patch 7. That gives you plenty of time for a good aligned playthrough. Though there might come additional stuff until september....
However in the scheme of the game those are very minor things, though. I personally wouldn't let those stop me, but to each their own :)
If you want to play evil, or be open to being swayed to evil during your play through then maybe hold off until Patch 7.
IMO mods are something to use after finishing the game vanilla to give more spice to later runs, but if those are important to you for your first game, then that's a reason to wait as well.
I don't see anything in patch 7 that will change the core game experience.
