What official Mod do you want come Patch 7?
For me, from BG1 and BG2, days and POE: I would like a fully custom party of 6 of my own characters. After playing a few times and experiencing all the interactions and quests this is how I like to get more value out of these games. Taking a party that resembles something from Dragonlance, Critical Role or LotR and just enjoying the variations. I know it is just about possible with current nexus mods and opening multiple instances but that was quite unnecessarily clumsy.

I haven't found anything about the base game I need to override. I am sure there would be some simple QoL mods that might be nice, but nothing I believe is necessary.

I think inventory management is a bit cumbersome but it is a hard problem to solve and Larian mainly used a very DoS 2 similar interface. Do we really need to pick up every plate and spoon?

Again, depending on what changes they make to scripting and possibly some other file access in patch 7, I think while we won't get custom campaigns or dungeons, it MIGHT be possible to create new romances, new interactive companions, and possibly new encounters. Maybe that stuff can't be hosted on mod.io but it can still appear elsewhere. So far, I keep looking around to see if any of the alpha testers have anything to say about the tools, but I suspect they might be under NDA.

A better implemented Divine Soul / Aberrant Mind sorcerer. Some mods for that already exist but it would be cool to see an even better take on them.

Aside from that a lot of new outfits and gear.
Honestly, I can't think of much I would want to mod with the game that I haven't already got modded. Be interesting to see how much of my mod list becomes officially supported.
What I *am* interested to see is how difficult the mod tools are to use- I'd love to be able to do stuff like make new weapons and plop them into the game to make some of the weapon classes like war picks or battle axes that are barely represented more relevant.

Using Weapons Oil mod, I can take a nice battleaxe, give it a +3 bonus, and have it do additional flame damage. It's now almost the perfect weapon for Karlach.

Almost. I also want it to be able to do Hellfire Cleave ability (borrowing that from the Greataxe you find in SS), and I want to be able to rename it Karlach's Hot at Hell Axe instead of just still being "battle axe".

Some more weapon customization would be REALLY cool.
