How Long Can I Delay Hag's Hair

I want to make a save game where I push off the hag's hair choice out as far as possible. Can I still do it right up until the end of Act 2 when the Act 1 waypoints go away?

Basically, I want to have a save as far into the game as I can and make some different choices on my build for the late game. Hag's hair is one of the things that can impact the build and if I need an extra feat or not so instead of replaying from the start I would load from here.

I believe Ethel cuts off when you either enter the shadow cursed lands, or when you enter the mountain pass.

Don’t quote me on that though.

If you are careful you can probably be just about level 6 when you wrap up the grymforge, without entering the mountain pass.

you cant get an extra feat from the hair its just a +1

It can save you from needing to take an ability score increasing feat, thereby saving you a feat for something else.

This would work as long as I don't decide I want to increase a different stat.

Honestly I wouldn't worry about it, bonuses get so high in this game that ability scores start to matter less later on, I don't even bother going to 20 on any of my martial characters main stats
