Starting the combat with an "extra" 6d6 sneak attack or a consumable 3d10 necrotic ( no other bonuses) would end up being way, way underpowered compared to a pure rogue.
In addition to that, the spell requires an attack ( based on spell hit, so your spellcasting power ). Which means you'll also have to go deep into spellcasting.
Finally, since there are limited item slots, giving some to physical and some to spellcasting would do nothing but making the character a mediocre hybrid imo.
But maybe I am wrong and there's a way to make a combatant based on inflict wounds pretty efficient.
Don’t get me wrong, I get chasing the dream, but this seems like a lot of work for basically no payoff.
Not to mention that by the time this even begins to come online you're in the Shadow-Cursed lands surrounded by necrotic-resistant enemies, and there's not really any way to get around that besides abandoning the gimmick
And if you're thinking about two levels of Warlock, you might as well be thinking about Agonizing Eldritch Blast which is easily going to be outperforming the output of this build which is going to be extremely limited on spell slots with all the multiclassing. Fiendish Vigor doesn't scale at all, and Dark One's Blessing needs Warlock Levels and good Charisma to maintain relevance.
Rogue is weak, dips into it need to be thought out. Assassin is only really worth it if your build NEEDS stealth to function (Gloomstalker Ranger is the classic synergy). It’s a pretty big investment for this build as Inflict Wounds doesn’t really have any additional synergy with it beyond the basic extra action if you surprise. Sidenote: Thief is also a good dip if your build can take advantage of the extra bonus action. Otherwise, skip.
If you want a spell nuker, an eldritch blast lock with agonizing blast is a good simple one. A sorcerer with spell sniper to grab eldritch blast as a bonus is also great if you can get items like the Potent Robe to get extra damage.
If you want sneaky, gloomstalker ranger all the way, you can dip into assassin if you want (as the provided invisibility makes enabling the assassin surprise bonus much easier), but straight gloomstalker is also a serviceable build.

It would be better to go 3 lvl Assassin - 1 lvl Sorcerer for chromatic orb and rest in Tempest Cleric. You can cast chromatic orb at range with auto crit for 14d8 damage and maximize twice per short rest to 112 thunder damage, which is a lot less resited anyway.
