How to remove origin characters with mods?

Multiplayer playthrough, we have a Durge who dropped out. Durge can't be dismissed because he's an origin character via normal game mechanics. Is there any way I can remove them from the party, via mods or cheat engine or whatever. Via story/cutscene is fine too, this is the start of Act III. I won't increase the party size, due to threat of save corruption this far in. Any suggestions?
