Karlach orig / Astarion romance - Lae'zel confession?

I'm playing as Karlach and romancing Astarion; Act 2, just saved Light's Hope. Astarion is at 93 approval and I've never flirted with another character. Karlach turned in her infernal iron to Dammon and can be touched now. If I talk to Astarion in camp, he said something like "Oh you can be touched now but you'd probably break me in half." Not romantic but he recognizes I can be touched. I thought I might get a visit from him at night ...

But when I sleep, Lae wakes me up obsessed with me and wanting to fight. WTF? Is my game bugged and chances with Astarion gone?

I slept another night to see if anything else would happen and there were no cutscenes at all. :(
