Mind mastery is giving me the business

Is there any way to neutralize a mind mastery spell cast by the enemy or prevent it from affecting you in a situation where the casters are scattered (i.e. cone of silence won't affect them all)?

I don't have an option to trade with Omeluum. He gave me a potion quest awhile back that I've had on the back burner. Do you recall if I need to complete that to be able to have a trade menu option for him and buy the Ring of Mind Shielding?

Yes! You will do the quest for the mushrooms in the Arcane Tower. Part of the quest involves him offering the ring for a price which isnt gold. Goodluck!

sorry, yes you can't "trade" for the ring right away, have to do his quest first. He also isn't there afterwards if you left that area, you have to speak to his buddy and he will call him back.

I have the "Find Mushrooms" quest for Omeluum in my log, but I can't seem to find a quest marker on my map whether I'm in the Underdark or above ground. When in the underdark, there is an elevator in the northeast corner of the map and the quest marker on the elevator has so many quests attached to it that it doesn't list them all and ends with "..." indicating there are some not displayed, so I thought maybe "Find Mushrooms" was one of them.

But, when I get to the elevator and click use it says "doesn't work / can't use that item now".

Do you recall if the "Find Mushrooms" quest for Omeluum involves using that elevator, or if not where I should go to pick up the trail?

That elevator is unlocked from zhentarim basement. Arcane tower you get to by going out a window in the selune outpost after coming down from goblin camp. You are going the right way when you see a bunch of statue dudes and an eye monster attacks,
