He has a number of Gaze attacks as well, which are relatively weak but do some damage.
And he can also pull party members to himself as well.
Things that helped:
I convinced Kethric to end himself, so had all my spells available for Myrkl
Haste spells and potions on everyone
I had Shart cast guardians and had her walk around to kill the hatches while healing/casting bolt/casting scrolls
I used telekinesis on Minthara to pull her off the platform to Shart when she was downed because she couldn't heal up there with bone chill.
Paladin did more damage than anyone.
I had Hunger of Hadar up on the left dealing with the necromites and hatches over there
Summoned a couple of Elementals. Also summoned US, but they didn't help much.
My first play as Durge, used reaper form to transform right before being downed. Had them plugging away on the platform with Minthara.
Myrkl died to cloud of daggers as he can't move. Kind of robbed me of the killing blow but I will take it as my sorcerer was the only player still standing and they were below half health.
You do remind me the tadpole power for autocrit and the executioner ring were very useful (I can't remember whether I had the ring on Minthara or Astarion, though).
As for the rest, I have always found the fire spells to be particularly effective vs. the Apostle, which OP should have from the warlock and scrolls. I assume the warlock is Wyll, so he can summon the cambion for some extra fire damage (the gift from Mizora)
The owlbear form was particularly effective in that fight (jump-jump) as I put a certain newly recruited druid to kill the necromites (it helps if you have 1-2 characters dealing with them). She finished the Apostle with a jump, which by the way was cheap as most of the damage was done by significant number of fireballs and Minthara (vengeance paladin).
An elixir of heroism + coating of accuracy (the coating that gives +2 on accuracy) do help increasing the hit chance. If you have the Battlemaster feat, pls check your settings. If it is on, disable it (the only exception is if you have the executioner ring, as it is an autohit and autocrit for 1 attack). An extra 10 damage does not mean much, if you can't hit at all.
A potion of speed in the opening phase on the druid or the warlock (preferrably the druid as she has more spells) can allow her to AoE most of the adds in the first round, reducing them for the time being.
P.S. If you can not talk Ketheric to death, focus on him (freeing dame Aylin and killing him) before he could do bad things to you.
March even. I keep wondering how people dig out the old stuff. Like if they Google stuff randomly and decide "I will comment on this old and very outdated thread because I want to say something"
Paladin and Shadowheart with spirit guardians at highest possible level should do the job
