You will note Mystra claims she has the power to reverse ceremorphosis. Well, if that is true for Gale ... why would it not be true for a Tav, or for Karlach, or Orpheus in the same situation?
Granted, maybe there she lacks motivation, but I am noting she says she has the power.
Thats the same rubbish as Raphael claiming he can take the tadpole out in act 1 and is then....oh wait...guess not.
Now, BTW, she tells Gale there is a condition ... she can only restore his humanity IF he returns with her to Elysium. So ... it might be the case that even if restoration of other party-flayers was possible, it could only be if they left the Prime Material Plane for good.
