I accidentally knocked out the Oliver

I accidentally knocked out Oliver in the battle near the statue and it disappeared after a long rest. The quest didn't fail, but it didn't end either. There is still a mark on the map where the player first meets him, but there is nothing there. Do you have any ideas where to find it?

I think that was the strange part I had too, where for some reason I could tell Halsin after it happened, that I had killed Oliver, even thought I hadn't.
I just loaded a save a that point.
