Which is okay! If the team weren't feeling it, perhaps it's right call.
Swen's also mentions this somewhere in this video.

If that's an issue with Larian all they have to do is hire them, themselves...
Nobody cares about SBI but those offended by them. Such as yourself, for example.
Please point to how them 'going woke' has hurt them instead of it being a result of poor short sighted business decisions brought about by them attempting to appease share holders by doing things that pump up their numbers short term but hurt them in the long run like laying off employees en mass despite having a good year because the share holders decided 'good' wasn't good enough.
Moar interviews!
Here's the problem in a nutshell with WotC. (Well, there's several, but this to me is the key one.) They are zealous and nutty over their IP.
Dungeons & Dragons’ New License Tightens Its Grip on Competition
An exclusive look at Wizards of the Coast's new open gaming license shows efforts to curtail competitors and and tighten control on creators of all sizes.

They are not learning the lessons of Game Workshop - when you get so zealous over IP you start going after your own fans, it bites you in the ass. The way they released the OGL is so classic for them. With a bunch of restrictions a mile long.
I think even Sven joked about how they were sending Pinkertons after their own fans (in this case, it had to do with Magic: The Gathering).

Look: I get it, a corporation needs to protect their IP, BUT ... when you start doing it so aggressively you punish and hunt down your own fandom, this never ends well.
I also suspect Sven was not happy they fired the people at WotC he first worked with to arrange the IP license and set up the two companies' relationship. All this I'm sure was leaving a bitter taste in his mouth.
Look, as I love the D & D IP itself, I hope WotC gets their ♥♥♥♥ together. It's possible, but they need to start acting more sensibly. I don't get why they and Games Workshop aren't learning their lessons. (I'm mostly talking about GW's strange jihad against people who 3D print their own minatures, among other things.)
