Unstable blood question

so i gave unstable blood to karlach, but now after she resives damage she keeps burning infinitely, like the "heat" says 7 turns she burns goes to 6 turns and then automatically goes back to seven, this is a bug right? and not how unstable blood should work?

Unstable blood is annoying, IMO, and I avoid it.

Perhaps with Karlach there might be a feedback loop.

However, it is kind of a positive buff if a character is resistant to fire damage. Their own blood is a source of fire damage, so every time they get injured their blood can explode, which can cause damage to everything around them (including themselves). If they are resistant to fire, however, it can be a passive "retaliate for damage" effect.
