As far as playing Karlach, if you don't have her outfitted and leveled right, then use her like a Glass Cannon, as a mindflayer she can fly and have some cool spells and can one shot most people who get to close. Just don't let her get ganged up on. In later games you should use her she is bad ass and can tank with the best of them.
I’m not playing on that difficulty so I wonder if I’ll be able to 🤔, if only there was a way to truly confirm
How much fighting is there before getting to that point of choosing to turn one into a mind flayer, if it’s mostly cutscenes up to that point I’ll just skip through to test it, otherwise yeah I definitely didn’t fix her up correctly so she would be a weak link if there’s a lot of fighting before getting to the point where she can be turned
I’ve ran Shadowheart, Gale and Laezel as my 3 other party members the whole game pretty much
damn alright
I kinda don't like the story implications of becoming a mindflayer don't want to "ruin" Gale that way even if gameplay wise he'll be crazy
