modded play through not popping achievements.

So I downloaded some mods (not too game breaking) and went through the game a bit, and noticed I wasn't getting achievement pop when I should've been getting them such as recruiting a hireling and throwing an enemy at another.

I did download the mods after starting the play through which could have caused it (I've heard something about mods baking to saves or something?), I've tried the mod enabler mod on nexus to no avail, mod enabler is ticked on BGMM, and I don't receive any notifications about inappropriate software or whatever when launching the game, I'm not sure where to go from here.

I tested whether achievements would pop on other saves such as a completed save on nexus mods which did work and i got about 4 achievements, so I'm not sure whats wrong with my main save and what (if anything) I can do to fix this, please help!

i've running the game with Norbyte's script extender(installed via bg3mm), Mod Fixer but Achievement pop-up is still working
also, have never used Mod enabler mod and his all mods

you need Norbyte script extender - it's not optional when you want achievement ;)

Some mods go through, some not. I have sword of gods from nexus bcs I was stuck at Sarevok and when I killed him fair, I accidentally aggro the elephant and couldn't talk to it. I still get achievements. So maybe your mods aren't tolerable.

i have the script extender and have achievements enabled on the mod manager

They’re not supposed to and using another mod to bypass it is no guarantee.

Bring this up with the author of the bypass mod on the mod website you use for mods.

just tried playing with the achievement enabler mod and i got an error in the console saying "couldn't enable modded achievements (symbol not mapped) is there any fix to this?

Again, go to the mod site. These forums are for the vanilla game.

That message means that the mod does not work on current version so yeah, ya out of luck there if script extender alone doesn't work for your save.

Just tested the punch drunk achievement and got 1/20 so maybe I was doing the other achievements wrong somehow? Thanks for the help anyway

Achievement are all managed by and fail because of the Steam wrapper. If you want them you have to run steam when playing the game and that wrapper is full of bugs.

Personally I will never play the game while Steam is running (App Wrapper).
