Using the orb in the house of hope?

So i had a thought (scary).
Lets say Only gale is in the house of hope and the rest of the party is back in baldurs gate.
and you have gale use the orb. does it have a special interration? usually you just get a game over, but the house of hope is on another plane, avernus. So it shouldn't affect the 'mortal' realm.
Is this tottaly overthinking it or do we still get a game over?
i dont have a savefile in that area to check...

nevermind lads. i found a savefile. we dont even get the opportunity. If we enter or leave the house of hope the entire party will be teleported alongside gale. even if they are at camp.

So much for being 'big brain'.
