There must be more to your story. No chances you get "railroaded" like that without willing.
What's there to say? Kept the dream figure alive although Vlaakith wanted him dead. I know Orpheus is held captive and the dream figure is using the power of Orpheus power to prevent my party from turning. So be it. (Reminder here that Laezel is in the process of turning against Vlaakith.)
Got quests to meet both Raphael and Voss, turn up to find Voss talking to Raphael about helping his people. Talk to Raphael after Voss leaves, deny dealing with the devil, go to talk to Voss and railroaded into finding a hammer to free Orpheus which my character doesn't want to do.
This is where everything falls apart for me. And I know you can ignore this request, but it's not about ignoring doing a quest, it's about needing some resolution as far as choice is concerned, like Voss getting angry for you refusing to find the hammer.
You can go get the hammer from Raphael's house (will have to kill him), and then *still* not use the hammer.
Is the problem just that you don't like ignoring quests? Or leaving them incomplete?
If you are just looking for consequences, I suspect that Lae'Zel will eventually become upset with you if you refuse to release Orpheus.
And it's got that great song....
