It's a pretty standard limitation because of usage of ranged and melee weapon slots
no. it's a design limitation of this game. the missile weapon slot and melee weapon slots are considered separate. why? not sure.
i have played many that they are the same slots. you literally swap weapons, however not for free action like bg3. well skyrim does not count since its an fps type.
though what is true is there are not many fantasy crpg with 1-hand missile weapons. so to have a torch out means its either a shield or melee weapon. Also its odd that torch can do so much damage.
that's not how it works in this game, all crossbows don't need reloading
I tend to agree on this one, though. But then I don't think it's that important either.
