Best to be safe and not sorry: stick to the time-tested method of knocking her out while temp-hostile and not taking a LR in between killing the rest of the leaders and talking to Halsin to turn in the quest.
But no, though I have Minthara in some older saves, I haven't tested KOing her post-Patch 6 yet.
What I have done in Patch 5 and Patch 6 is straight up go to her, hit her with an unarmed attack, then knock her out. It has worked in both instances.
I will warn you, Halsin might start showing up in weird spots in camp as she basically spawns over his act 2 and 3 camps. Its not game breaking, but it can be annoying.
Yeah I'm totally cool with halsin being buggy in camp. I was able to recruit her before the most recent patch on a different playthrough but for me, killing Ragzlin didn't make Minthara perma-hostile & I can't for the life of me figure out what I did differently.
Alternatively to to have him leave? I regret having him join camp after the goblin are gone.
