A question about "Disguise Self" spell and in-game terminology
When you cast the Disguise Self spell, you can pick a race, and a... something.

Basically, there is a "Femme" and "Masc" options. I had to Google the words, since I've never encountered them before. It looks like BG3 is filled with exotic vocabulary!

This is what Google says: "The term 'Femme', in contemporary usage, has a broader and more nuanced meaning, particularly within LGBTQ+ communities. "Femme" refers to a queer person who exhibits a feminine identity or gender presentation. While it is commonly associated with feminine-presenting lesbian women, the term is inclusive of various identities, including some gay men, bisexual individuals, and non-binary people who adopt a feminine presentation."

So does it mean when casting a Disguise Self, our character starts to identify themselves as a queer person? I'm truly sorry, but this whole gender study thing is very confusing for someone who never been to USA.

Y'all just making things up on the spot now. :LaughingOwlcat:
Since when girl is for a grand mothers? As far I know guy isn't age related when girl is deeply age related and half disguised insult for a woman not that young. Sigh.

ironically this means anyone can use shapeshift spells to change if they identify differently and there's no consequence really)

But feminine/masculine don't mean LGBTQQIP2SAA, sigh.

But ok I got through the confusion of the UI, still later in character creation, there's suddenly 4 body types and it's up to player to guess.

I ended conclude it was standard feminine and masculine, then giant feminine, but frankly I still wonder.

What do folks think about pineapple on pizza? Personally I think it's great.
I love it, great with pepperoni.

We're doing this again, I see. I really should act more suprised but it's getting increasingly harder to do so.

Welp, back to enjoying the summer-y weather before it's gone.

There is/was a place in Detroit called Big Daddy's that made a BLT pizza. Bacon, lettuce, and tomato, with mayo in the place of tomato sauce. It's incredible, despite all indications to the contrary. Just try not to think of "warm mayonnaise" when biting into it.

I've actually eaten there once, on a trip to the US. I actually liked that blt pizza, but imo, The cheesesteak pizza was better

Isnt "Femme" and "Masc" just a shortcut for "Feminine" and "Masculine"?
Even though "Fem" would be the better shortcut for "Feminine" since "Femme" is more associated with other stuff than just "women". Then again, its also just the french version of "women" so, who really knows

Probably just one more bug, and people make a bible about it, the French version looks for coherent and very clear for Mask, but this could be the bug, too clear lol.

So, I had a quick chat with my friend who works for one of these DEI consulting companies. Basically, she said it's 100% not French, or any other language. Also, it's not an error or a bug like some people claimed here.

She gave me this link: https://pridelygay.com/what-does-masc-mean-in-lgbtq/ and said it explains the terminology really well.

So in short: in Baldur's Gate 3 everyone are considered as "gender-fluid". That's why there are no "male" or "female" options. So on one day you might identify as femme, on another day you might be "mask". Same reason why your same body-type companions hit on you.

As per your bogus link, "masc is a shortened version of masculine".

Second, hearsay. Your friend does not exist, doesn't take a genius to figure this out. And assuming it does, why would what your friend say matter? Afterall, Larian didn't outsource it's game through a consulting firm of that type, so it's not subject to it's influence.

Are you a pathological liar or what? Is everything ok up there?
