Animations not working

I'm on my first playthrough romancing Astarion. I only get the dialogue option to ask for the kiss, but the animation never happens. I also play with mods, but I have uninstalled or deactivated them several times and nothing changes. I would also be willing to reinstall the game again (if it helps), but rather reluctantly because I'm not entirely familiar with the online synchronization of my save files. In the end, this isn't the first problem I've had since patch 6. But I was always able to fix the other errors by deactivating the mods.
I hope someone can help me ^^

I don't remember it being strictly a mod issue (seen it pop up a few times since the patch), but just in case. If it doesn't work, consider reporting it directly to larian with the savegame for proper tracking.

No.

A lot of mods users have shown in countless forums posts in the past that they are under common misconceptions when it comes to mods removal.

It is very important that mods user follow the detailed instructions of the mods authors in regards of installation and deinstallation of mods to ensure compatibility and functionality of the game and mods. Should an issue occur follow their instructions and in doubt consult the mods authors for mods related issues.

You can only be certain that an issue is not mods related if you confirmed it yourself by removing your mods completely and thoroughly.
