Modders may add such a thing (or may have already done so), but there will be no deep integration into the game as there is now for other character races.
In any case, it is not safe at this point to Mod the game as it is still under debugging and optimization with patches and hotfixes that routinely cause Mods to break the game.
So, best to wait if you don't want to play the best game in a long, long time due to not having that race available. :)
That's a cool looking race (googled it lol), that'd be hella fun if added and they had Flight from the start or something.
As for if they'll ever be added, no way to know for now.
Larian's set it up so they've got studios doing continuous development on BG3 to support it into the future while Swen and the other Larian big names move on to work on their next games, so there's bound to be DLC in the future for this game too.
Just a time will tell situation really, though I don't think that race has been mentioned in the base game much (if at all), so if they do get added it probably won't be until after a few other DLCs first.

BTW, as that thing has races I had never heard of and seem to be drawn from far-flung sourcebooks from other dimensions, I would have been surprised it didn't have them.
In the Real World, YES ( thanks crisper )
flying isn't properly implemented (just a long-range "jump" that doesn't need to follow a straight path) so that whole unique feature to their race would be pointless
and they were barely assed to properly animate dragonborn faces (PC literally always has the same expression, and there's not a single dragonborn NPC until the final act) so why would they try and do birds
