Can't free Shadowheart from the pod
So, I decided to go on my second run after months I've finished the game.

I created a tiefling-bard, got to Shadowheart in the pod, collected the Eldrich rune and...nothing. There is no option to use it on the device.

What I'm I doint wrong? Or it's just a bug?

Uninstall the mods fully and try again. Mods are not currently supported by Larian for this game. Known issue with mods and quest items

I think you need to examine or search the machine/computer/thing... possibly before finding that rune?

Are you using any Mods?

Send the Rune to your Camp Chest and then try the control panel.

I had the same problem but I found a way around it:
I made my Tav character start as a Barbarian, so I get an extra option to rip the pod open, which works even with the mods I used. Yes you can just turn them of, but I had one installed, that placed items in the chest at the beginning. And this way, I got both. Just free Withers at the very start of your game and change your character to the class you want to play as.
