Romance in multiplayer
If you're playing a multiplayer game (2 humans, 2 NPCs) can you both romance your main NPC companion? I played with a friend, and while his romance with Asterion went through normally, Shadowheart never went for the final scene with me. Maybe I just said something wrong to her, or is this a limit on the game?

Every player can have their own romance work just fine - guaranteed up to three players.

How does celebration night work.

I'm guessing you would see your romance cut scene at the same time? Not sure what someone without a romance would get?

It is possible, but unlikely. You need to meet the conditions for each romance partner at the same time to achieve having two different romance cutscenes in one night.

It's "supposed" to work normally, I guess, but a lot of people have the issue of their relationships with the companions getting stuck or capped at neutral, stunting any possible romance, while the other person they're playing with progresses normally, allowing only them to have all the fun.

I currently have this issue in my MP game. My partner isn't really trying to romance anyone but party night he got offers, which he turned down because he knew I was actively trying to romance one of them, so that I could have any cut scene interaction... and then end of party night comes and boom, shot down and crushed dreams, because it turns out, despite having done everything, talked to everyone correctly, and done all their relationship things(he hates side quests and companion quests so he leaves them to me to deal with), no one even liked me past neutral, but they all loved him for doing nothing. Turns out they were all stuck at the exact same place in the neutral zone.

So, if it works for people in MP, you're lucky... but in the 3 of our MP playthroughs so far, it hasn't worked once. Still getting the "one stuck in neutral, and the other is normal" thing.

I meant see your scene at the same time as the other player sees theirs?

Such thing never happens. The cutscene will be played in order. If you have shared cutscenes on, everyone gets to see it in your party. If you have private cutscenes on only the affected player gets to see it while the other waits in sleep mode.
