How to get to Gortash (bridge is up)

I killed his robots and want to get his head now, but the bridge to the castle is up. Is there a way to get to him without jumping down on the grass below the bridge?

There are two entrances, the other is at Basilisk Gate.

Can you specify this a bit please? Where on basilisk gate?

Did you get to the Lower City ? i.e. did you already meet Gortash ?
If you have, well, go to the Basilisk Gate teleporter, and go from this entrance.
If you haven't, you're supposed to talk with the Flaming Fist at the other side of the bridge, so that they lower the bridge.
You made them hostile, so the only solution, if you haven't met gortash and have access to the aforementioned path, is to jump on the grass patch.

If the bridge is still closed, and the Steel Watchers on the South end are dead? There are a couple of other ways to get to the Lower City. I used one on my first play through as I did not want to deal with the guards. :/

So, explore around and you will find one of the ways, I am sure. :)

You're going to need a Pass to get into the city. If you have one, they will lower the bridge for you.

There's two ways to get that pass. BG3 wiki describes both methods. One involves fireworks, and the other involves solving a crime.

And that's all the spoilers you'll get for now. If you want more, I told you where to get them.

I believe there are other ways into the city, but they require more ... creativity.

There are a few different ways, but I like to climb onto the roof of the nearby building and misty stepping across. I never even talk with the bridge guards.

You can do what I did the first time I visited wyrm's rock and just do a reverse prison break

My problem is I last played BG3 over 4 months ago, so I don't know what i did last or should do now to get into the castle.

Steel watchers are dead since i destroyed the factory, bridge is up with dead steelwatchers in front of it with some other guards that are alive
