What Races do you wanna see added?

What is a Race that you wanna see added and why? Will there have to be Special Gameplay Mechanics for that Race? How would NPCs react to them?

Fairy: I wanna see Fairy added as a Playable Race. Personally they are my Main Race in DnD as I enjoy the challenge it brings. I imagine NPCs, given how some can be rather... racist... would probably not trust or think the Player can't do much in Combat due to their smaller size.

Honestly, I prefer fewer races rather than more. BG3 doesn't feel grounded enough for me at times. Especially whenever I encounter a dragonborn NPC and they are just like, guarding a shop or something.

They can want grounded, i want Goblins. More of the playable monster races in general.

Exactly! I think it'll be fun to have a more diverse cast of Races the player could play. Some of them are technically already in the game, Goblins are the easiest... just make sure the Armor and Weapons fit them properly and BOOM! Player Goblin Race.

Pixie is another I wanna see, and can be done as well cause technically a Pixie Model already exists.

Baldur's Gate is a major port city, just like Waterdeep and Neverwinter, but more importantly it's one of the key stops of the trade route between Faerun and Maztica (where the catfolk originate from on Toril). It would make total sense to see a catboy or catgirl trouncing around the city because of this.

Plus, the interactions you could see from this would just be amazing. Lae'Zel being a Githyanki and not knowing what a cat is would make for some hilarious banter, Shadowheart I know would just be f*ckin' adorable, Gale would be stupid funny (and not to mention the drama that would ensure from meeting Tara), Astarion would have a preening contest, the list goes on.
