1) No, the mod author has not made the spells for it learnable from scrolls. They say they are working on it.
so .... here comes how it works:
2) I suspect if you are using it as your only spell mod you should be fine, it will start turning up in the spell lists of your characters. One note: one might say "burning hands 2E" that's the PF2E spell different from "burning hands" (vanilla). Me, I could never get them to show up for anybody but my Pathfinder Magus. And now it's not working at all.
3) which leads me to point three: it does not appear to work if you ALSO have 5E Spells Addon installed (and I do). Or it WILL if you have the Compatibility Framework, which requires Script Extender. I can't run that or use that, so I can't get the two spell mods to play together properly. To me the 5E Spells are more important (AND there are scrolls for them), so in this either/or situation I'm not using the PF2E spells.
At least for a while when it was still working I got to try some of them out on my Pathfinder Magus. It does include 7th and 8th level spells and AFAIK this spell mod is the ONLY one that puts such spells in the game.
