but it's okay because they're psychos and most of them deserve it tbh
One way is to go in peacefully. Deal with whatever before heading to the Inquisitor (such as finding out what the Zath'isk really is and convincing the nursery manager to let your character take an egg and dealing with the peacenik fighter and learning about how one of the statues could use some oil now and then and what happened to the hrasting fool trying to survive at the ruined bridge, etc.).
After doing all you wanna do, deal with the Inquisitor. Don't leave. Go find the Blood of Lathander. Deal with that and fast travel away. ...or fight your way back through the horde or do bad with the BoL and have 4 turns to escape through a portal and get away far enough.
it's sort of a barracks/infirmary combo, through a door past some kids beating up a screaming box
But I guess it really depends on what makes 'point' to you individually.
There's a companion questline that relies on visiting the creche as well as several other questlines of varying size, interest and reward that take place there, not to mention the lore tidbits that fall into place during your sojourn through the creche.
And while it seems to always end with some bloodshed* you don't have to go all murder hobo like a DnD player either. You can bypass dealing with about 2/3 of the creche by taking a left turn at a junction.
*I haven't actually tried aligning with Vlaakith ever, but keep meaning to play as a more-indoctrinated-than-Lae'Zel Gyth Monk one day
Huh. I guess that makes sense in hindsight. No wonder leveling up was so difficult IRL.
"What is it called when you kill everyone and take all their stuff?"
"Adventuring!"
