Actor feat
Do you think actor feat is good on a charisma based character? With actor i could have proficiency/experise in all charisma skills.

I can start at 17 charisma instead of 16, grab actor feat at level 4 and then grab ASI at level 8 again - reaching 20 charisma anyway. I want to give my sorceror character a slight bard flavor (learned how to play instruments from Alfira) without taking bard levels and delaying sorceror progression.

I'd say yes. Its very satisfying having ALL of the charisma checks.

Since you are asking, 'Alert' > All Others.

Nothing beats going first in every fight and never being surprised.

But, anything will work with the proper construction and party composition.

Good Luck. :)

I did this exact thing on my sorcerer.

This is what I did with my sorcerer. Personally, I don't think it's a waste since you're wanting to use your charisma-based character as the face of you party and having better deception and performance is going to make those skill checks that much better. And you're bringing your charisma up to an even value for the attribute bonus increase.

The good thing is - you can just take it, try it and if it isn't to your liking then just respec for the 100g gold (and then pickpocket it back, so in reality that's for free) and take something else. :cozycrashfish:

For a *non* skill monkey class, this makes a ton of sense for RP reasons, dialogue checks and what not.

I would not, however, take this with a Bard or even a 'face of the party' 14 CHA Rogue as they can skill up dialogue checks like nobody's business without needing to burn a Feat like this.
