Ketheric companion - Redemption arc...?

This is more of a wish than a thing that could happen.

But during the dialogues, you can actually convince Ketheric to surrender. His last words are Isobel etc.

He overall just feels like an old yet powerful man that got taken advantage by the gods.
What if we got a choice to recruit him, convince him to join us. He would help us destroy the absolute, he could even offer himself to be turned into a mindflayer so no one else would suffer as a way of repaying us.

What's you POV? Would you like if Ketheric could be recruitable in a redemption arc for him?

Maybe, but he's likely already too far gone as Myrkul's Chosen. Just like the Dark Urge who accepts Bhaal's blessing in Act 3 is too far gone to end in anything but tragedy for them by that point.

Nah, but I wish he was apart of act 3 instead of gortash and Orin they were mega lame

If he was recruitable, you'd have to make MAJOR re-writes for Act III which would bloat the file size of the game.

That being said, I do love the idea. I just have to be realistic in the considerations that would have to be made for it to work.
