* Any of the non-Shadowheart characters multi-classed?
* Ever have Shadowheart out in the world by herself?
Edit; Had to fix some typos, working with an injured finger so my typing is worse than normal lol .
Thanks for the reply!
The mods I'm using are
party limit be gone
carry weight to 9000
tav's hairpack
script extender
improved ui
achievement enabler
Those I've been using since around level 3, I think.
No, so far all of them are not multi-classed.
No, I've not had her out in the world alone. I kep them all in a group as much as possible.
Yes she is. She's level 8 while all my other characters (myself included) are at level 6.
I'll try sitting her out and hope that fixes the issue. Thanks!
Ok. This is almost guaranteed to be a Mods issue. Not much can be done other to try and disable them and see if that restores the balance. May not work though if the actual numbers have been changed and subsequently are part of the Saves. :(
Worth a try. Thanks you!
Would have had to use all the wrong characters at all times besides Shadowheart. During dialogue and events that give them exclusive individual XP and you a inspiration point.
Solid advice. I probably should have thought to test it before I even posted but it didn't even cross my mind because I had already been using them for a few levels.
Highly possible with me! I was so confused the first few levels I'm surprised my characters have even lived :P
I went through and checked my approval rating, it's about 3/4 of the way through (very good) with Shadowheart, Gale, and Wyll.
Lae-zel - Fair
Astarion, Karlach - Neutral
It wins the "Most likely to mess up XP in some way" award hands down in that selection.
Unfortunately thoroughly and completely removing a mod won't always clear up the 'damage' it's done to a savegame so I'm hoping it's Shadowheart being overpowered and not the rest of your team lagging behind the content's CR.
That would be my luck. I read through quite a few posts on nexus mods and didn't see anyone mention XP issues. I found the mod to begin with as a recommendation from several gaming websites I was reading to try to get a better idea on how to install mods. I'm going to play the game later tonight and see if it's fixed now that I've uninstalled some mods, if not, that one will have to go as well.
I removed all the other mods (other than party limit begone) and booted it up. I did get a message saying that with the mod disabled the game may not be stable. So I did a quick save and quit the game. Restarted and no longer had the message.
Yeah, I use Party Limit Begone and I've never seen any.
OTOH, I ALSO use Unlock Level Curve and XP Progression mods. And I HAVE seen weird little things where one char will level SLIGHTLY earlier than the others, but it's never a very big gap, like one char is suddenly 2 levels ahead of the others. Now that I think about it, that stuff might even be happening because of Inspirations.
My other ULC pet peeve: when you hit Level 20, it pastes a "Maximum Level Reached" message over your XP bar. I'm like, gee thanks, I f**king knew that already. But it's just an annoyance. Also, oddly, sometimes Tav doesn't level as fast as everybody else for some weird reason - except as soon as I save & reload, everybody's caught up. (Actually took me a while to figure this out.)
