You could even make a halfling and call him ... there is even a fitting ring of invisibility to be found in the Underdark.
I never played DU but I know from the Wiki the default choice is a dragonborn draconic sorceror - a race normally not found in the party, and a class as well (though you can recruit a sorceror hireling). So as a sorceror, you're going to be murdering people with spells. Or a little bit of breath weapon.

Fighter/Bard (depending on how many levels you split them both to, either swords or lore) can solo a specific blood-lusting creature in act 3 in 2-3 turns, depending on the crits you get.
