You could even make a halfling and call him ... there is even a fitting ring of invisibility to be found in the Underdark.

Yeah. Making the dark urge in the combination of race and class that are not all that proficient at killing is interesting from lore perspective. Like, how does that work, exactly?

its about the passion anyone can kill but only the most depraved can do it in a way that brings a bloody tear to bhaals eye.

Hey, as a bard, you can kill people with a song. I think Bhaal might actually approve of murder through music. Sure Dolor and his crew kill with daggers, but that doesn't mean Bhaal doesn't like assassins with other methods. I even imagine old Bhaal smiles with joy when you blow people up with explosive barrels.

I never played DU but I know from the Wiki the default choice is a dragonborn draconic sorceror - a race normally not found in the party, and a class as well (though you can recruit a sorceror hireling). So as a sorceror, you're going to be murdering people with spells. Or a little bit of breath weapon.

When I very first started playing I thought I could only be Dark Urge as a Dragonborn, took me a bit to realize I could change.

The game was originally designed to have the player character be the Dark Urge just like in BG1. That's why you have complete freedom to create a character. I think the origin characters being playable was added later.

Fighter/Bard (depending on how many levels you split them both to, either swords or lore) can solo a specific blood-lusting creature in act 3 in 2-3 turns, depending on the crits you get.
